April 4 – Film: To the Ends of the Earth

SolarShare is presenting this incredible documentary which examines the rise of extreme energy extraction in Canada and its impact on the environment, economy and local communities. The fossil fuel industry's intensive hunt for unconventional non-renewables, including Arctic drilling and shale gas fracking, also gives rise to a formidable array of scientists, authors and activists who envision a post-growth economic future premised on co-operation, social justice and ecological stewardship.

Narrated by Emma Thompson

Featuring a post-film panel discussion with Ottawa City Counselor David Chernushenko, renewable energy expert Chris Young, EnviroCentre's Stu Campana, and OREC's President Dick Bakker. Plus find out more about investing in renewable energy in Ontario and earning a solid return.
