OREx community eXchange is a new feature in MyOREC that helps you learn from experienced and unbiased OREC members who live near about a green energy resource you're interested. You can search by resource category – EV, heat pump, solar and more – and filter by type, brand, location, installation date, etc.
Watch our short video to learn how to use OREx to find someone who's already using the energy resource you're interested in. OREC members can start a conversation with another knowledgeable and unbiased member to learn more about their experience buying, installing, and using that resource. So far we have over 200 resources of all kinds listed, including 78 electric vehicles, 62 heat pumps (central air, geothermal, mini-split, and water heater), and 49 solar installations. We have wind and storage resources too!
OREx is a feature of MyOREC which works equally well in a browser or a mobile phone - no installation required! While only OREC members can contact other members, anybody can use OREx to find and learn about resources near them.
