What is the Building Energy Efficiency Service?

The Ottawa Renewable Energy Co-operative’s Building Energy Efficiency Service (BEES) provides a turn-key, 100% financed, cash-positive, energy retrofit. Guaranteed by a third-party, BEES includes ongoing monitoring and maintenance, ensuring cost and energy savings are realized.

Retrofits are community financed, enabling public benefit and increasing your building’s sustainability profile.

Eligible buildings include:

  • Multi-unit residential buildings (tower type)
  • Recreational facilities
  • Commercial facilities
  • Institutional facilities
