Connected to the grid in July, 2017 this solar project is a 120 kW project on the roof of Blackline Power in South Gloucester. With its large size, metal cladding, and lack of shading, Blackline’s roof is excellent for solar power generation. This project cost slightly over $200,000 to build and will generate 87 MWh/yr , or $24,500 gross revenue, per year.

 

Blackline Power has a history of leading the curve with a focus on renewable energy systems. They installed one of the first large solar FIT projects in Ontario at an equestrian centre near Meaford and share much of OREC's founding principals.
